In 2024, a certified doula and aspiring lawyer and a gynaecologist/obstetrician joined forces with the vision of creating a space for women to learn about their bodies, health and sexuality. Imbali Empowerment was born. Imbali is a space that is free of judgment and full of love for the feminine.
The term "Imbali Empowerment" was inspired by the Zulu word "imbali," meaning flower, reflecting the preciousness of womanhood. We chose this name to underscore our commitment to using our knowledge to support and uplift young girls with limited access to vital resources, emphasizing the value and beauty of their journey towards empowerment.
